Der Physiker und Klimaforscher Stefan Rahmstorf vermittelt sowohl der breiten Öffentlichkeit als auch politischen Entscheidungsträgern in Büchern, auf Blogs (»Realclimate.org« und »KlimaLounge«) und über Social Media wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse zum Klimawandel. Er leitet am Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung die Abteilung Erdsystemanalyse mit den Schwerpunkten Ozeanografie und Paläoklimatologie. Darüber hinaus teilt Rahmstorf sein Wissen mit einem breiten Publikum, klärt auf und nimmt sich sogar die Zeit, sich sachlich mit abseitigen Thesen von Gegnern der Klimawissenschaft auseinanderzusetzen.
RealClimate is a commentary site on climate science by working climate scientists for the interested public and journalists.
